More about this section
Keep your store’s delivery work in one place: open or pause new requests, set prep time, manage your catalog, and confirm driver handoff.
Set a prep window so drivers are not waiting around or arriving too early.
Counter, parking, bag count, contact name, loading door, or business-hours rules.
Driver sees the safe handoff details after the job is assigned.
Store operations dashboard
One board for open status, catalog, prep, driver handoff, and store issues.
See your store’s availability, catalog, waiting orders, and ready pickups. Sign in to manage your real business across devices, or use the separate demo board to rehearse.
Stores see pickup, prep, handoff, and driver-safe facts. Customer private contact, exact dropoff, access codes, and delivery payment stay outside this board.
Checking your business account…
Account-saved store availability
Control when new orders can arrive.
Stores start closed until you open them. Pausing or closing stops new requests while existing orders remain available to prepare and hand off.
Business onboarding packet
Give every store the same clear launch packet before they receive orders.
This packet explains what Delivery Harbor does, what the business controls, and what must be ready before the owner turns a store live. It is written for restaurants, groceries, retail, department stores, hardware counters, offices, community pickups, and local shops.
Store readiness checklist
- Business name, type, hours, prep time, and service area are saved.
- Pickup location, parking or counter instructions, and bag-label rules are clear.
- At least one catalog item or common request is ready for customers.
- Unavailable items, substitutions, delays, and “needs help” rules are understood.
- The business accepts the outside-payment boundary before real orders are sent.
Plain explanation for a business owner
“Lighthouse gives your store a simple delivery prep room. Customers can request items, approve a quote, and track the status. You keep control of your customer relationship and payments. Lighthouse does not take delivery payment or store commission; it keeps the request, prep, driver handoff, and proof trail organized.”
Business onboarding desk
Set the rules every driver should see before pickup.
Draft your pickup routine, hours, allowed order types, and size limits in this browser. Live availability and default prep minutes are saved in the account controls above. Keep private customer and payment details out of pickup instructions.
Business launch gate
Prove this business can safely receive real delivery orders.
The gate checks business rules, catalog options, pickup handoff, account save status, and the outside-payment boundary before the business counts toward the delivery launch light.
Save business rules and at least one catalog item, then check readiness.
Convenience-store setup
Start with the items people need quickly and the rules a driver can follow.
Use the preset above to fill a draft for snacks, drinks, household basics, and quick grocery items. Keep age-restricted, tobacco, lottery, alcohol, medicine, and hazardous goods out until a separate approved process exists.
First business pilot
Get one store ready for one controlled delivery.
Start small. This checklist prepares the business for a supervised first delivery; it does not turn the store live or accept public orders.
Store operations overview
Run inventory, fulfillment, staff, and delivery from one place.
This private view shows inventory work, open supplier requests, delivery activity, and payment readiness without exposing private store details to customers.
Checking store operations…
Business catalog manager · convenience store inventory
Control what is on the shelf and what customers can request.
Set current stock, a low-stock warning, and a clear pickup rule for each item. Out-of-stock items automatically disappear from the customer catalog. This is the store inventory control board; it does not collect payment for Lighthouse.
Supplier and shelf controls
Keep suppliers, shelf counts, substitutions, and expiration checks in one private workspace.
Store managers can save supplier details and complete a shelf audit. A shelf audit changes inventory only after the person counting confirms each number.
Store onboarding · phone scanner
Add a product or receive stock with a phone camera.
Use a phone camera to scan a UPC or barcode. If the product is already in this store’s catalog, record the received quantity. If it is new, enter the product name and starting stock. Barcode scans stay private to this store.
Use a phone with Chrome or another browser that supports barcode scanning. You can also type a barcode below.
Product spreadsheet import
Set up a store catalog from a CSV file.
Use columns such as title, category, stockOnHand, price, barcode, supplierName, reorderQuantity, shelfLocation, and productSize. Review the file before saving; the importer never changes existing items with the same barcode automatically.
Store counter workspace
Receive stock, count shelves, and record damaged items without opening the full catalog.
Use a barcode scanner that types into the search box, or search by item name. Counter changes stay in the private inventory log and update what customers can order.
Search the private store catalog to begin.
Receive stock
Shelf count
Use the item card on the left to save the actual count. Reserved customer orders remain protected.
Restock and supplier board
Turn low-stock alerts into a clear supplier request.
This board creates a private restock draft from low or out-of-stock items. It does not contact a supplier, place an order, or charge anything.
Checking private inventory levels…
Store staff access
Give each person only the access they need.
Managers can maintain the catalog and inventory. Counter staff can receive stock, count shelves, and record damaged items, but cannot change the customer catalog or store settings.
Sign in as the store owner to add staff.
Business prep board
Manage incoming delivery orders, prep timing, and driver-ready handoff from one board.
Signed-in businesses see only their own incoming requests. Set prep ETA and pickup notes, save a customer-visible order update, and confirm handoff after the assigned driver accepts. Demo orders stay in a separate rehearsal board.
Checking for signed-in business orders…
Pickup instructions
Good pickup notes save time and prevent confusion.
The business should be able to keep a default pickup routine, then add order-specific notes only when needed.
Business safety
The prep room should not expose customer private details.
- Do not show full dropoff address or private customer notes in the business prep board.
- Do not place payment handles, gate codes, apartment codes, or private contact details in pickup notes.
- Use “needs help” when the item is unavailable, delayed, damaged, age-restricted, unsafe, or unclear.
- Keep food, medicine, alcohol, and regulated deliveries behind extra rules before wider launch.
