Privacy at The Lighthouse
Your life stays yours.
Lighthouse needs enough information to prepare the work you ask for. It should never collect information just because it can, and it should never publish, send, pay, or share something simply because you typed it here.
Privacy compass
Private stays private until you choose otherwise. Lighthouse uses your information to run the room you asked for, keep records connected to the right account, protect safety, and complete payments or messages you approve.
Public actions are separate. A listing, guide, group post, memorial, awareness page, or shared care update should ask clearly before anything leaves your private space.
Privacy room boundary
Private by default until a person chooses a public or shared step.
What we collect
What Lighthouse holds depends on what you choose to use.
- Account details such as your name, email address, security settings, and signed-in devices.
- The requests, drafts, listings, profiles, messages, reminders, documents, and media you choose to create.
- Payment and transaction records needed for receipts, memberships, storage billing, refunds, and disputes. Payment card details are handled by the payment processor; Lighthouse does not store your full card number.
- Basic visit, device, error, and security information used to protect accounts and understand whether the site works.
- Care, family, memorial, missing-person, or other sensitive details only when you deliberately provide them for that private purpose.
Why we use it
We use information to open and protect your account, prepare the service you requested, keep your private work together, deliver messages and receipts, prevent abuse, meet legal duties, and improve the parts of Lighthouse people actually use.
Guidance may help organize a request or prepare a draft. Consequential actions remain held for review where the experience says approval is required.
When information moves
Private work stays private unless you choose a public or shared action. Information may be shared with another member, a provider, a household participant, or a family contact only for the path you approve. Service providers that host, secure, deliver email, or process payments receive only the information needed for their role.
We may preserve or disclose information when reasonably required to prevent fraud or harm, respond to lawful process, enforce our terms, or protect the rights and safety of people using Lighthouse.
Lighthouse does not sell personal information. Storage-customer access and Lighthouse membership access remain separate.
Optional calendar connections
If you connect Google Calendar to Lighthouse Services, we check busy times in your primary calendar to avoid offering conflicting appointments. We create and cancel calendar entries for appointments managed in your Lighthouse job room. Google asks permission to view availability and to view, create, change, and delete events on calendars you own; Lighthouse uses that access for these scheduling features.
We store your calendar connection tokens encrypted on our server, along with appointment event identifiers and synchronization status. Busy-time responses are used during availability checks. Your outside event titles, descriptions, and guests are not published to customers or your profile. Our hosting provider processes the connection data to operate this feature, and Google receives the appointment details needed to create or cancel its calendar entry.
Disconnect in Services Assistant → Connections to remove the stored connection tokens and stop future checks and updates. Existing calendar entries remain until you remove them. Lighthouse appointment and synchronization records remain subject to the retention terms below; contact us to request their deletion. You can also revoke Lighthouse access in your Google Account.
Google Calendar data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train general-purpose AI models. Lighthouse's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Your choices
- Review and update profile and privacy preferences in My Lighthouse.
- Choose whether a draft is saved, shared, published, sent, or paid.
- Remove passkeys, revoke device sessions, and change your password.
- Ask for access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of personal information, subject to records we must retain for security, transactions, agreements, or law.
- Turn browser notifications and optional camera or microphone access off through your browser or device.
Retention and protection
We keep information while an account or service is active and for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, including transaction, agreement, fraud-prevention, dispute, and legal records. We use access controls, encrypted transport, secure cookies, content restrictions, and activity records to protect the service. No online system can promise absolute security.
Children and families
Lighthouse is designed for adults and for family-supported use. A child should not create an independent paid account or provide sensitive information without a parent or legal guardian. Family and care tools do not replace a caregiver, medical provider, emergency service, or legal authority.
Questions
info@easylotstoragesolutions.com
Effective October 16, 2026. We will post material updates on this page and update the effective date.
Guided drafts and optional visitor feedback
Guided-start notes are kept in this browser tab for up to 30 minutes. You choose whether to use them in a form, and can discard them. Practice examples stay on the example page and create no customer request, listing, booking or payment.
If you choose to send the four-task visitor check, we receive only the selected task answers, clarity ratings, rounded task time and phone or desktop category. We retain anonymous daily totals for 30 days, without names, contact details, free text, account identifiers or browsing history in that feedback record. The owner sees aggregate results. Ordinary site security and operational records remain separate.
Optional AI assistance
If you choose AI assistance, your question and, in the concierge, the current draft are sent to OpenAI to prepare a response. Automatic routing and approved support guidance remain available without selecting AI assistance. Keep passwords, payment details, private access codes and unnecessary personal information out of messages.
Support applies basic redaction to email addresses and common number formats before an AI request. This is not a guarantee that every sensitive detail will be recognized. AI responses do not authorize payments, reservations, account recovery or publication. The application requests responses without saved conversation storage; provider processing is described in OpenAI’s API data controls.
Privacy requests & account summary export
We also keep aggregate counts of section choices, saved or restored drafts, and blocked steps to improve the website. These task counts use a fixed list of labels, contain no account identifiers or form contents, and are retained for 30 days.
