More about this section

The driver room gives local drivers the full path before they commit: safe offer details, accept or decline controls, questions for dispatch, pickup status, on-the-way updates, and delivery proof without exposing private customer details too early.

PayKnow the offer.

Base delivery amount, tip note, wait-time warning, and whether the job needs a quote.

RouteKnow the area.

Pickup area, dropoff area, distance estimate, time estimate, and vehicle fit.

ProofKnow how it closes.

Photo, code, handoff, signature, or business confirmation before the driver accepts.

SafetyKnow the limits.

No unsafe items, emergencies, pressure payments, or private access codes in the first offer.

StatusKeep everyone updated.

Accepted, arrived, picked up, on the way, and delivered with proof are all visible in one flow.

Driver onboarding packet

Give drivers a clear, safe path before real delivery offers appear.

This packet explains what a driver needs, how offers work, what stays private, and what proof closes the job. Drivers should know the route area, item size, pickup rule, proof requirement, and pay boundary before they accept.

Requirements before real offersAvailability, area, vehicle, capacity, and proof comfort. The driver profile says what they can safely carry, where they work, when they are available, and how they can prove delivery.
How offers workSafe facts first, protected details later. The first offer shows public-safe pickup and dropoff areas, item size, proof needs, and driver pay note. Exact private details wait for the protected delivery room.
Payment boundaryTips belong to the driver.Lighthouse does not collect delivery payment. Driver pay, tips, store payment, and customer payment stay outside Lighthouse unless a separate approved setup exists later.

Driver readiness checklist

  • Driver display name and optional offer-alert email are saved.
  • Vehicle, capacity, service area, and schedule are clear.
  • Safety boundaries block unsafe items, pressure payments, and unclear handoffs.
  • Proof comfort is recorded: photo, code, handoff note, or signature-style confirmation.
  • The driver knows they may decline jobs that do not fit their vehicle, area, or safety limits.

Plain explanation for a driver

“Lighthouse shows you delivery offers with the important facts before you accept: pickup area, dropoff area, item size, timing, proof, and pay note. You can accept, decline, ask dispatch a question, share safe status updates, and close the delivery with proof. Tips belong to you, and Lighthouse does not hold delivery payment.”

Driver application

Apply before becoming available for delivery offers.

This application goes to owner review. It does not create an active driver profile or send delivery offers.

First driver pilot

Prepare one driver for one supervised delivery.

Use a simple route and a known business for the first run. This checklist is preparation only; owner approval remains required before real delivery work begins.

Open owner launch gate

Complete the checklist, then use the owner launch gate before the pilot starts.

Driver route dashboard

One driver board for availability, offers, route steps, shared position, and proof notes.

Drivers need to know what they can do right now: whether they are available, which offers need review, what route is active, and what proof closes the run. This dashboard keeps the action path clear before the driver opens the full offer board.

Before acceptingCheck the pay, route area, time, item size, and proof requirement. If the offer does not fit your vehicle, schedule, or safety boundaries, decline it.
During the runFollow the delivery steps in order.Arrive at pickup, confirm pickup, update “on the way,” then complete with proof.
After deliveryKeep the proof and job record together.Delivery pay and tips are arranged outside Lighthouse; Lighthouse does not hold a driver payout balance.

Drivers see safe route facts first. Exact addresses, private contact, access notes, and delivery payment stay out of the public offer view.

Available delivery offers

Your saved driver profile opens offers assigned to you. Public visitors can review safe overviews, and labeled demo offers are available for rehearsal.

This uses the driver profile saved in this browser. A customer's tracking or quote code cannot authorize driver updates.

Save your driver profile, then open an assigned delivery. Demo offers below are labeled for rehearsal.

Driver pay notes

Confirm the amount you will receive before accepting.

Customer budgets and quoted delivery totals do not establish your driver pay. Agree your payment and tips with the business. Lighthouse does not collect delivery funds or show a payout balance.

Driver setup

Driver profiles need more than a name.

A driver should be able to tell Lighthouse what they can safely handle before offers appear: towns served, vehicle type, schedule, load limits, proof comfort, and no-go items.

Save driver availability

This lets automation match live delivery offers to drivers by status, area, vehicle, load size, and schedule before private job details are shown.

Availability not saved yet.

Driver launch gate

Prove this driver can safely receive real delivery offers.

The gate checks availability, service area, vehicle/capacity, proof comfort, safety boundaries, and the outside-payment boundary before this driver counts toward the delivery launch light.

Save driver availability, then check readiness.
