Base run, mileage, wait, size, and optional tip are visible before the delivery is assigned.
THE LIGHTHOUSE · DELIVERY PRICING
Clear delivery pricing before anyone accepts the run.
The Lighthouse model is built around plain numbers: no business order commission, driver tips stay with the driver, and the customer sees the delivery estimate before the job moves forward.
The driver offer shows estimated route, timing, proof need, base pay, and tip note.
No percentage commission is added to the store’s order just for using the delivery lane.
Request, quote, pickup, route, proof, support, and review stay attached to one delivery room.
Estimate before dispatch
Build a plain delivery estimate.
This estimator is a launch planning tool. The final live quote should still be approved by the customer and accepted by the driver before private details open.
Fee rules
The rule set is visible to everyone before launch.
Lighthouse does not add a percentage commission to the store’s food, retail, parts, or service order in this delivery model.
Tips are shown separately from the base delivery estimate and are marked for the driver.
The customer approves the delivery plan before exact address details and protected notes open to the assigned room.
Waiting, shopping, heavy items, stairs, long distance, or return trips should be shown as real line items instead of hidden fees.
What each person sees
Same order, different safe view.
Pricing safety
This does not replace required regulated-delivery rules.
- Alcohol, medicine, age-restricted goods, controlled goods, food-safety rules, and tax rules may need separate setup before a location goes live.
- Delivery pricing should not hide emergency, unsafe, illegal, or pressure-payment requests inside a normal delivery quote.
- Delivery payment is not made to Lighthouse. The customer pays the business and/or driver through their own approved method outside Lighthouse; Lighthouse keeps the quote and approval record.
