More about this section

The Lighthouse helps a customer and a provider agree on the request, quote, schedule, and completion. When online checkout is used for a service job, the provider connects their own Stripe account and receives that job payment through Stripe.

What the provider does

  1. Create and publish a provider profile with the business or person customers are hiring.
  2. Open Connections and connect that provider’s own Stripe payout account.
  3. Finish Stripe’s identity and bank setup for that provider.
  4. Give the customer one exact approved total before online checkout appears.

What the customer sees

  1. Send a service request or respond inside a private Mission Room.
  2. Review the provider’s quote and terms.
  3. Approve the quote before paying.
  4. Use Stripe checkout only after Lighthouse confirms the provider is ready for online payments.

What Lighthouse does

Lighthouse keeps the job room, quote, messages, scheduling, receipts, and payment status connected. Lighthouse does not receive outside provider job payouts. Easy Lot / Lighthouse upgrade subscriptions are separate from provider service payments.

If a provider has not connected Stripe, the customer can still talk, quote, schedule, and complete work by arrangement, but online checkout will stay unavailable.

If this still feels confusing

Open the Services FAQ or Support before connecting a payout account. The main rule is simple: the provider doing the job connects the provider payout account. Easy Lot only sells its own Lighthouse upgrades separately.
