Home Owner Setup Payment Portal

Connect Stripe to Lighthouse

This makes Lighthouse work like the other apps you used: you copy two Stripe values once, then create payment links from Lighthouse. Customer payments go through Stripe, and Stripe pays out to your Truist business account.

Stripe setup status

Checking…

Step 1 — Put Truist in Stripe

  1. Open Stripe payout settings.
  2. Add or verify your Truist business checking account as the USD payout account.
  3. Do not put routing or account numbers into Lighthouse or chat.

Step 2 — Create the webhook in Stripe

  1. Open Stripe webhooks.
  2. Add endpoint: https://easylotstoragesolutions.com/api/stripe/webhook
  3. Select events: checkout.session.completed and checkout.session.async_payment_succeeded.
  4. Copy the endpoint signing secret. It starts with whsec_.

Step 3 — Save Stripe connection

Use test keys first if you want a practice run. Live restricted keys start with rk_live_; full secret keys start with sk_live_. Test keys use rk_test_ or sk_test_. Lighthouse never shows the saved values again.

Step 4 — Make one test payment

After status shows Stripe connected and webhook connected, use Owner Setup or Payment Admin to create payment links. Keep customer payments simple and uninterrupted.
